Things to keep in mind during Umrah about Arabian climate

To leave one’s homeland and travel to another place is not everyone’s cup of tea. The journey might have many joys and pleasures and can cause many hardships as well. No doubt, it the holy crave of all Muslims to travel to the sacred cities of Makkah and Madinah to perform Umrah, however, some people face really unexpected difficulties due to the harsh weather condition in Arabia. Arabia is basically a deserted land and to bear the scorching heat of the sun that falls on the sand is difficult for those who are used to live in a comparatively cooler climate.

The rituals of Umrah particularly the Tawwaf and Sayee requires exposure to Sun for long period; which might create unforeseen conditions for those who are not in habit of that heat. • Packing about three pieces of Ihram made up of thin but good cotton that might not be torn away easily as the task of performing Umrah is quite laborious. • Keep your water bottle with you to keep yourself properly hydrated. In the case of performing Umrah with kids take extra care of them consuming an adequate amount of water.
• Backpacks are not allowed in Masjid e Haram so keep small shopping bags to carry water or some snacks for yourself or kids. Keep things that are most important with respect to the necessity to avoid extra load of luggage.
• Try availing cheap Umrah packages from any expert travel agency which offers you travel services as well. Otherwise, there is free shuttle service as well which carries you from your hotel to various holy places you plan to visit.

Keep in touch with your family members or the group you might be traveling with through text messages in case of emergency. Otherwise, consider your hotel as a place to reassemble after getting dispersed or not being able to connect to any family member or group member.
