What are the treatments available for infertility?

Infertility is a big problem for both men and women. This is caused today due to the unhealthy lifestyle and genetic disorders; eventually, this will decrease your chance of getting pregnant. Even some unexplained infertility cases are not found the cause. Treatment and test for Men:

To identify male infertility, you have some testicle procedure to be done, to know sperm count and health of sperm. For men have the general physical test, this includes the genital analysis.

Changing lifestyle factor it means you need to improve your lifestyle habits, and behaviours can improve your chance of pregnancy. This consists of some physical activities, and if you take any medications for a long, you need to discontinue it. If you are consuming liquor regularly, this will impact your fertility system. So you need to reduce or abound like these harmful things. Improving your intercourse timing and repetition.

Medications:

If you are taking medication as the physician prescribed to overcome infertility problem, this will help you to increase sperm count. Depending upon the pesrson's health some times medicines enough to cure male infertility problems. But everyone's health condition is not same, So follow to doctor's advice if other treament are required.  

 

Surgery:

Surgery is not requiring often until you have sperm blockage. These surgical procedures involve in remove the blockage and restore fertility, and it will help you to increase the chances of pregnancy.

  

Sperm retrieval:

If somebody have ejaculation problem or no sperms in ejaculated fluid, Then the sperm will obtain from that person through sperm retrieval treatment and used with in IVF and ICSI

Treatment for female infertility:

Successful fertility treatment for women comes under the patient’s age and health condition. If a woman under age 35, she will achieve her pregnancy with one or two treatment methods, If women above 35 age she needs other treatments also.

Ovulation Induction

OI used by if women who are not able to ovulate and can’t ovulating regularly. This treatment involves taking medicine to stimulate follicle-stimulating hormone production.

Artificial Insemination (AI)

This is also known as intrauterine insemination (IUI). This treatment happened when women who are healthy and no problem with her but unfortunately she can’t conceive. If her partner has difficulties during intercourse. The process of AI is the insertion of the male partner’s semen into the uterus through the female’s cervix. This treatment has to be done at or just before the time of ovulation.

In vitro fertilisation (IVF)

IVF treatment can be done under various circumstances but often used when a woman whose fallopian tube is blocked. In IVF treatment procedure, women’s egg and male partner’s or donor’s sperm collected and stored in the laboratory to allow the egg to be fertilised. When an embryo develops, the embryo is placed into the uterus.

GIFT( gamete intrafallopian transfer)

This is the same version of IVF but fertilisation not occurring in the lab like IVF. Instead, the women’s egg retrieved from her ovaries and inserted between two layers of sperm in fine tubing. Then the tube fed into the women’s fallopian tubes. Where the sperm and egg are left to fertilise naturally.

ICSI(intracytoplasmic sperm injection)

ICSI mainly used to overcome for sperm problems. But ICSI process same like IVF.

PGT(preimplantation genetic testing)

PGT is a kind of technique used in IVF to find any genetic disorders. It helps people to reduce their risk of pregnancy due to genetics.

Surrogacy

Surrogacy is a form of ART in which a woman carries a child for another person with that intention of giving the child to that person after birth.
