(1888 PressRelease) Parents and guardians have no reason to worry about their children flying solo on Thai Airways International’s Unaccompanied Minors service. The airline has one of the most extensive services catering to youth solo passengers in Asia.

Bangkok – Thai Airways International’s Unaccompanied Minors service has expanded to new heights. The service is now available on all flights and extends to children aged 5-17. While parents of unaccompanied children between the ages of 5 and 11 need to contact THAI, the service is optional for children aged 12-17.

Some exceptions to the program include layovers above six hours in length and itineraries where passengers would need to transfer between Bangkok’s Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi airports. For business and Royal Orchid Plus unaccompanied minors, this service is only available for children aged 8-11.

With already some of the best in-flight entertainment options for children, the THAI’s Unaccompanied Minors service allays any fears parents or guardians should have about their child flying solo. True to their tagline, service “as smooth as silk” is provided for the young passenger.

With an extensive range of international flights from Bangkok, parents are able to send their children to see family and friends across the world with ease.
