Tourist visa for Maldives

These are the documents you should carry before applying for Maldives tourist visa
- A valid passport that should not expire for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
- Application form (IM01).
- Sponsorship declaration form – If sponsored by a company, then the application form should be endorsed by the company. But if sponsored by an individual, then a copy of his/her identity card is required.
- Expatriate health insurance.
- Return tickets as well
- Enough money to survive the duration of stay in the Maldives – USD 100 plus USD 50 per day.
- Booking in hotel or resort, and you need confirmation of that
- Recent passport size photographs of the applicant, white background.
You should know that a 30-day visa is not a right of the tourist, but dependent on Immigration to issue for a period not exceeding 30 days or any period less than 30 days.
