Work safely with the circular saw

Virtually no other tool can make such a straight and clean cut. For this reason, the circular saw is indispensable in the equipment of every good DIY hobbyist. Circular saws are available both as bench and hand saws. But for perfect results and for your safety it must be used correctly. Here are some important aspects of the correct use of the circular saw. Best Pole Saw

Circular saws are suitable for cutting various construction materials  - for example for wood, metal, synthetic material, and even tiles. But power tools also pose a high safety risk given the high speed and sharp blades. For this you must always proceed with caution for your own safety and respect some rules:

Do not use a circular saw in a frantic way or if you are in a hurry. Only in this way can accidents be avoided. Always work in peace and in a concentrated way, even if you go slower. Don't get distracted or surprised by anything.

Avoid wearing gloves

Usually, do-it-yourselfers and craftsmen are always advised to wear special work gloves to minimize the risk of injury. But in this case, it is better to give it up. Why? Gloves often don't stick well to the skin - especially around the wrists. All this can have serious consequences when working with the circular saw because the material can get stuck between the teeth of the blade and the hand is pulled in a few seconds into the cutting area causing serious injuries.

Anyone who does not want to give up on gloves must choose a pair suitable for working with a circular saw. Special protective gloves with a steel weave are available on the market and they adhere well to the fingers and wrists. If, however, some fabric gets caught in the rotating blade, this is immediately blocked by the weave.

Numerous DIY professionals don't take protective clothing too seriously. However, before starting any work with a circular saw, it is absolutely necessary to wear suitable protective clothing. They're important:

solid shoes to protect yourself from falling materials

long pants to protect yourself from chips

safety goggles

ear protection since the circular saw produces a high noise of approximately 110 dB

breathing protection

wear only tight-fitting clothing to prevent it from getting caught in the saw

always tie long hair
