Enough of the side facts, let’s come back to the CFMoto 400 GT. The sports tourer is powered by a 4-stroke liquid-cooled 400.4 cc motor that produces 41.5 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 34.4 Nm of torque at 7,650 rpm.

A 6-speed transmission unit takes care of delivering the power to the rear wheel via chain drive. Two petal discs at the front and a single at the rear are responsible for bringing the motorcycle to a halt. The CFMoto 400 GT also gets ABS for better braking performance. With a fuel tank capacity of 17 liters, the 400GT also features ABS as an added safety feature. This year 2020 CFMoto 400GT launched Key features include dual LED headlamps with 4 adjustable modes.

The first to notice with the 400GT is the massive conventional touring bodywork. It speaks sport with hints of longer distances. Next would be the contemporary four-mode LED headlight presentation. Feeling a bit sporty? Then the front mirrors are foldable all the way back for a serious tuck. Lastly, key in and switch, you are greeted with a clear TFT switchable display: Sport or Touring. Undeniably, the amount of time given for this bike’s design is simply remarkable.

The 400 GT is not a lightweight motorcycle for the 400 cc data. but it is certainly balanced and easy to navigate. The engine is resilient and you do not have to resort to the 6-speed transmission and clutch continuously. Suspensions are generally comfortable but without losing consistency at higher speeds and under pressure.

The front brake is very linear in power output and efficient, the rear brake is slightly unconscious and activates the ABS very quickly. On the open road, the 400 GT accelerates linearly too persistently and in good condition to a final of 165 km / h. The motorcycle is very stable, both in straight and long turns. The air cover is very good, with the windshield in the top position, while the average fuel consumption I measured was 4.3 liters per 100 kilometers, good enough for a 400cc motorcycle.
