There is a common misconception about JEE preparation- If you don’t get IIT JEE Coaching from one of the best coaching centres, you cannot get a good rank. A misconception, because the coaching class can provide you with materials (and you can usually get the same JEE preparation material online) but they can’t possibly study for you. As a matter of fact, today you can easily get online coaching for IIT JEE.

Candidates have to focus on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics while preparing, and though it can be a little overwhelming, no subject can be ignored if you want to get at least 150+ in your exams.

Here are five strategies to enhance your IIT JEE preparation, if you’re doing it online-

  1. Go back to your basic concepts regularly: No matter how far you’ve reached in your preparation, make sure that you go back to your basics regularly. This will be easier for you as almost all your lectures are video recorded and can be availed whenever you like. Your basics need to be very strong.

  2. Study as per weightage: Different topics have different weightage and because you control your schedule and have access to study materials at all times, make sure that you make it such that the topics with more weightage get your attention more. Be well versed with them and clear every and all doubts.

  3. Take Notes: Have a notebook and pens at hand at all times and take running notes. Make flow charts, and write and rewrite your formulas. You will even find small quizzes online where you can practice your formulas.

  4. Practice regularly: There are a lot of questions available for you online, so try to solve as many as you can. When doing mathematics, start with the easy problems and then move on to the harder ones. The more you practice, the less mistakes you’ll make! For physics and chemistry, you usually get practice questions at the end of each topic you learn, don’t skip them.

  5. Mock Tests: A lot of mock tests and previous years’ papers are available online. Take advantage of them and solve them all. The benefit of solving online is that you’ll get to know your result and mistakes almost immediately and you can rectify them accordingly.

IIT JEE is indeed very difficult, but don’t lose hope if you can’t afford a fancy IIT JEE Coaching class, or don’t have one near your housing. These online coaching for IIT JEE are just as good and as long as you work hard and give it your all, you can easily prepare for your JEE Main online.
