The air pollution in Delhi is on a consistent rise with becoming severe in nature, specially in winters. It constantly marked headlines in winters as well as in other months of the year. The air pollution problem is not unique to Delhi but it is there in most of the cities in India. In this scenario, it is important that one looks to find the answers to the problem of pollution rather than just complaining about it. It is time to analyse what we have done and what actions are required from civic agencies so that the problem remains under control. We have to look at short terms as well as long term solution to this persistent problem. As pollution is very much responsible for various health issues, it’s very important to all of us that we try to seek a solution to this issue.

While foreigners are free not to travel to Delhi, not everyone can escape the city. Most of us do not have an option but to seek a solution. Just 16 years back there was a famous statement from Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) which pointed out the Prime Minister saying: “Roll down the car window Mr. Prime Minister, the security threat is not the gun, it is the air of Delhi.” At that time the air of Delhi was full of black smoke, fuel and emissions standards were virtually non-existent. The agenda for the government was at that time to advance the roadmap for the fuel-emission standards. At that time people talked about the restrictions on the diesel vehicles and then to make a transition to the compressed natural gas (CNG).
From that time the pollution problem has risen to dangerously toxic levels. In most winters recently in Delhi, the level of PM 2.5—which is the tiny particles emitted from motor vehicles is three to four times than the safety levels. These toxic tiny particles can go deep in the blood stream and can enter the blood stream causing a variety of health issues. Recent winter seasons has remained severely polluted for most of the winter especially increasing its intensity during foggy December and January months. Most of the health issues that the citizens of Delhi and other pollutant cities in India face are relates to respiratory problems. People do not get to breathe clean air and that is the root cause of many health issues.

Majority of the pollution related issues are associated with a high number of malfunctioning vehicles which emit a high level of pollution. The issues with engines and other parts of vehicles can contribute to this. Quality air filter manufacturers can help deal contain the air pollution caused by these vehicles.

Vehicles with high-quality air filters not only prolongs the life of vehicles and their parts, but it also helps in curbing air pollution. Some of the companies like Elofic are offering high-quality air filters which is helping put a curb on air pollution. This company is worldwide known as high-quality lubricant oil manufacturers in Delhi and Industrial Filter manufacturers which help bring in pollution levels down in our cities and in our homes
