Reasons For Giving Priority To Evangelism

Most of the churches have no evangelism nowadays. That is not an overstatement but it is the true fact. Finally, Evangelism is dying. This statement is not at all in a hyperbolic way. After analyzing and updating the entire data, the group of churches that follows South Sudan Evangelism today is less as compared to thirty years ago. It is observed that the only a person or two attend the gospel of church out of forty to sixty members. Here is also numerical growth noticed where the transfer from Christianity to others is more. That is sheep shuffling and not evangelism.

Why do we all think that evangelism is one of the priorities in the church? Even, it is the highest one. Though engender are many and here, sharing some of the reasons why South Sudan Evangelism is the must-have in the church. Let us start with Christ command.

  1. The great commission of Matthew refers to the command of evangelistic and disciples making. There are ample places where the priority is given to the evangelism and it is clearly evident. A Christian must do it, as it is a command for all.
  2. The exclusive one is Salvation and there is no other way around it. Everything about Christianity moves around the way of salvation. It is the only way out. Jesus told John that I am the only way and no one else comes to the Father without me.
  3. Christ died for the world but he is the only person who gave us the right way to all of us in the history of humanity. It is an urgent message and it is worth to tell everyone about it. It is indeed the greatest message.
  4. This article is confirmed by most of the pastors and church leaders as the mental assent is given to the priority of evangelism. However, they never practice South Sudan evangelism in the church and quite weak in this practice. When they started doing the proper practice of evangelism in the church, then they can provide a perfect priority to the evangelism.
  5. Where most of the church expended their energy? Is it a revengeful business meeting? Or is it insignificant church preferences? Wars on worships? Struggling for power? All these are inward obsessions. There is a need to shift the focus and lead your church to a priority of evangelistic.
