Mental health is as important as physical health. It is necessary to talk about your mental issues. Psychological state is no laughter issue nowadays. There are many people who hide about their issues that lead to mental trauma, anxiety disorder or depression. In 2020, it has been seen that numerous people are getting affected by mental issues.

Everyone in society talks about physical health issues but no one talks about mental health issues. Talking about mental health issues helps a person to beat their fears, their mental issues. Talking about physical health is easy but it is equally important to talk about mental health. In 2020, talking about mental health on social platforms and other sources have inherit trend.

Mental health has come into the limelight. With the growing number of mental health issues, people are likely to talk about mental health issues. The twitter is trending where celebrities came forward and shared their issues on this platform.

Moreover, mental health is being portrayed in movies to show the people that it is okay to talk about mental health issues. When the central characters were shown coping with mental illness, people have now come open about their issues. Some of the celebs that came forward and shared their personal experiences while battling with mental health disorders helped others to be open about their issues as well.

Mental health has always been hidden out for several years. People hide their issues thinking they might become a laughing stock among the surrounding. It has always been considered as a taboo topic. With societal norms, it became difficult for them to share their struggles.

A famous actor from Hollywood, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, a former athlete turned into a famous actor shared his mental struggle on a social platform. He quoted "struggling with depression during his teen and early adult years". Along with this, he encouraged people to come out and be open about their mental health issues. He said, "holding up your emotions  will lead you to severe state of mental health".

There is one more celeb who shared about his depression and how it ended his career. It is none other than Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps who shared about his mental health experiences. He wanted to aware of the people to seek out mental health therapy which will help them to overcome their issues.

With the celebrities opening up about their mental health issues a new trend got started in accordance to talk about mental health issues.  #MentalHealthisTrending was started with a campaign to aware people of mental illness. This trending campaign was started by Helen Hope, who is a founder of fashion brand Heartknoxx expects this campaign to become a path for the people who are still struggling with mental illness.

Come out and talk:

Mental health issues are no joke. It has been stigmatized and considered to be insignificant. People when talking freely about physical health should also become free about mental health. It does not mean that people do not suffer from mental illness. Come out and talk about the issues that bother your mental health. It is real and it is important for everyone. The world is expanding and upgrading and with that people should also become more aware of mental health issues.
