Jobs in Dubai - Finding Employment in the UAE

Posted by Temp on February 25th, 2020

Gold is paved.  In some ways this can happen -the economy (especially construction industries) is booming, and Dubai is an open-tax haven, with net income usually considerably higher than in other parts of the world.  Still, it's not always easy to secure jobs.  About 80 per cent of Dubai's population consists of foreigners, and it can be tough to contest desired jobs.  Before heading to Dubai, it is best to get an offer from a client.  This may not be always necessary, of course, and there are some benefits of visiting Dubai for a visa in order to find a job in comparison to a home country.  Instead of enduring the extra distress and the risk of hiring anyone visually unseen, for example, many employers prefer to hire someone who actually works in Dubai (and is therefore available for interview).  However, until the expiration of the visa there is no assurance that a job will be landed so a little luck and local connections are invaluable.

There are different avenues for those who hope to find work in Dubai.  Several recruitment agencies with a good reputation for supporting job hunters in their job-search.  Since many Recruitment Agencies are involved, it is always best, before using their services, to study their credibility and practices.  Sadly, it is not uncommon for impoverished people in poorer countries to save their entire lives by paying out unscrupulous agents from their own countries who promise falsely visas and employment.  Fortunately, recruitment agencies are regulated and must be licensed in the UAE, thus significantly reducing the potential for scams in the UAE itself.
