Nationally Recognised Training

Our Nationally Recognised Courses are delivered from our Varsity Lakes location. We also offer Onsite Training for Group Bookings & Workplaces. Our certifications are Nationally Accredited: Synergy Central RTO 31486 trading as First Aid GC Training

Event First Aid Services

We specialise in Event First Aid Services for events of any size. We are fully insured through our Public Liability and Medical Malpractice policies.

Community Workshop

We offer a range of Workshops to ensure all members of the community are prepared to respond in an emergency. We teach valuable lifesaving skills to everyone from children to grandparents.  Our First Aid Workshops are delivered throughout the Gold Coast community to ensure that everyone can administer basic First Aid. Our Community First Aid Workshops include:

Equipment and Supplies

Create a safe Workplace, House & Vehicle with First Aid GC. We offer a large range of Defibrillators, First Aid Kits & Consumables. 

CPR

Participants will learn basic resuscitation skills including how to perform CPR on an infant, child and adult. This course will also cover Gold Coast CPR Course the principles of Automated External Defibrillation and participants will have ample opportunity to utilise our training defibrillators. We teach in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines.

As Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is generally conducted on the ground, participants will be required to perform two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor. We also recommend that participants have a good understanding of the English language. Low Voltage Rescue (inc. CPR)

This course will provide participants with the knowledge and ability to perform a Low Voltage Rescue. Participants will have the opportunity to use our Low Voltage Rescue Kits and switchboards to simulate a real life rescue.

Family First Aid Class

Bring your Family together to learn First Aid in the comfort of your home! This is one of our non-accredited First Aid classes, which means we can offer a heavily discounted rate! If you require a Nationally Recognised Certificate, you will need to complete one of our accredited courses. First Aid for Kids

People of all ages can assist in an emergency, including your children. Children can learn basic First Aid from ‘Penny the Penguin’ and one of our qualified instructors. We will cover topics such as:

  • Assessing for Potential Dangers
  • Checking for Response
  • Sending for Help
  • Checking the Airway
  • Checking for Breathing
  • Basic CPR
  • Using the Recovery Position

Onsite Group Training

First Aid GC specialises in onsite training throughout South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. We currently provide Nationally Recognised Training for schools, universities, childcare centres, gyms and sporting organisations. Onsite training is not only convenient but the course can also be personalised to your specific environment. We cater our onsite training for groups between 4-24 participants.

Our Nationally Recognised Training is conducted with Prestan CPR Manikins which provide instant feedback and are extremely realistic. We are equipped with Infant, Child and Adult manikins to ensure our participants are prepared for any situation. Your group will also utilise our training defibrillators, EpiPen’s and asthma management devices.
