Carol Anne is the soul-mate of George Tran, and they have been living together in Eugene, Oregon since 2002. Born in Vietnam, George has Australian citizenship and Chinese mannerism. He has been living in US for the past 20 years, and has adopted it as his home. At the age of 8, his family left Vietnam, and he spent a few years in a refugee camp without any education. He did not know English until the age of 9. At home, he has two dogs, but no kids. In his leisure time, he likes to book, travel and play games on computer. What George likes and dislikes

Computer games: He spends his leisure time playing games on computer. City of Heroes and World of Warcraft are his favorite games. Today, he does not get enough time to play games, probably due to his busy professional life. Other than computer games, he also enjoys playing board games. Several bookcases in his home have been dedicated to accommodate board games. He hosts other gamer friends to his home from time to time and play board games throughout the day or even weekend. George has been a lover of Dungeons and Dragons since his Sydney University days, and he frequently plays this game with his group, with which he is since 2000.

Dogs: George loves dogs. Since he has no children, he spends a lot of time playing with the two maltese dogs at his home. He loves training them too.

Health: He does not like being sick, and to maintain his health, he eats healthy and exercises regularly.
Traveling: George loves traveling too. Owing to his before time retirement, he could travel to different places around the world.

Gadgets: He is a techno-lover too. He owns an Android tablet, and was amongst the first few people who had an iPad. In addition to a kindle, he has several other tech gadgets.

Cell phones: Although he wrote ‘The Social Mobile Marketing Guide for Small Business’, he does not like carrying around a cell phone in his real life. He bought his first cell phone only in 2011.

George Tran owns a Toyota Prius hybrid car, believes in recycling things and lives in a humble home. He, along with his wife, prefers to cook at home. They eat out only once in a week to give themselves a special treat. He loves nature, wants to preserve it and revere it. Wherever he goes, he contributes something to it to make it better than before.
