Another way to play with your straps is to take off one of your straps and put the other strap over just one shoulder. If your straps don’t come off, you can still get the strapless look. Simply take the straps off of your shoulders and poke the straps into your dress so that your dress now looks strapless. Voila! You now have a strapless maxi dress.

Other things to do with your maxi dresses are to make them into skirts. All you have to do is fold down the top half of your dress and you have a skirt. You can make the top half of the dress fall where you want for your skirt. You can punch it up really tight and make it nearly disappear underneath the blouse you wear or you can make the top part of the dress stand out a bit. Of course, you can adjust the length of the skirt by using a belt if you want.
