There are people that are fanatical about the quality of water that they use. These people will not even take a single sip of water other than from a mineral water bottle. Some of them even use filtered water for daily chores like cooking and bathing. But can you blame them just because they are just a tad more concerned about their health? In any case anyone can now use filtered water for any household chores. Domestic reverse osmosis systems are found in millions of households across the globe. And if you want pure water flowing from the shower then you can also install shower water filters.

Reverse osmosis is the opposite of osmosis where the stronger saline water flows toward the weaker saline water. In reverse osmosis systems water flows through a membrane from one end of the filter to another. During this passage through the filter the larger salt and mineral molecules are retained while the smaller water molecules are able to pass through. This ensures that the user gets clean water to drink.

While normal osmosis doesn’t require any external pressure to happen there is pressure required for reverse osmosis to work. This is how the more saline water is made to flow in the opposite direction. Modern reverse osmosis systems are available with different pressure strengths so that one can buy a machine as per their requirement.

For domestic use purposes one can use three, four or five stage reverse osmosis systems. No, these are not just fancy names. Depending on the hardness and salinity of the water coming out through the tap one needs to choose their system. One option is to always take expert opinion but then if you ask around you will come to know what people in your neighborhood use.

You may think that using shower water filters is going a bit overboard but there are people with extremely sensitive skins. Since water is treated with chlorine someone with allergic reactions to it may develop skin conditions. Is there a need to take a chance just because someone else thinks that using a filter in the shower is going a bit too far? It is your own skin after all and you are the one to take the best care of it.

There are some other skin factors involved with the use of shower water filters. Once you get used to bathing in filtered water you will find that the quality of your skin has improved. It will feel softer and will have a glow to it. Now wouldn’t you love to have the smoothest skin when all you need to do is install a small filter inside the shower spout? And even if you use hand shower you can still use a filter with it.

There is no reason not to use one of the reverse osmosis systems and there is no shame involved in using shower water filters. You are concerned about your safety and have all the rights to do things that work.

There is nothing wrong in it when you spend good money on reverse osmosis systems and shower water filters.
