Natural acne soaps are based on the healing power of natural agents, such as botanical extracts, clays and others. These handmade soaps are a great alternative to mass produced cleansing solutions, often containing cheap detergents and other harmful substances, such as parabens. And you can be surprised how effective natural soaps are in killing bacteria, including those causing acne.

The selection of anti-acne skin cleansers and other related skincare products is great. They are nice packaged and could be quite pricey. Natural acne soaps make a great alternative to these mass-produced solutions, as they are very effective and do not contain cheap detergents and other harsh chemicals that may cause allergies or other irritations. Natural acne soaps are based on the healing power of natural agents.
The most popular acne soaps are those based on botanical extracts, such as tea tree oil, or lavender oil. But natural acne soaps can be also made of less known ingredients, such as clays, or even burned wood.

Tea tree oil is one of the natural agents used for the skin benefit from very old times.  The oil is sourced from Australian tree, called by native people melaleuca. It is distilled from the plant leaves and displays strong anti-sceptical properties. For this reason, it was used by native Australian tribes to treat burns, cuts and various skin infections – they just crushed the laves and applied them on the affected areas. Modern science confirmed healing abilities of tree tea oil. It has turned to be affective against 58 clinical pathogens, including those causing acne, warts and other unwanted skin conditions.
Because of its strong anti-bacterial and anti-septic properties, a natural soap containing tea tree oil is strongly recommended for all those, who suffer from acne. Unlike many mass-produced cosmetic products, these handmade soaps contain only natural ingredients. There is not risk of allergy, or other bad skin reaction to the detergents and chemicals! Hand-made soaps with tea tree oil do not contain any artificial preservative either. They are very effective acne soaps and cost less than many off-the shelf products.

Another natural agent very effective in fighting acne is carbon obtained from burning wood. This black powder is maybe not very attractive to eyes, but kills bacteria, fungi and other pathogens, also those present on the skin surface and causing acne. As a natural agent, activated carbon is very safe to human health. In old times, in India and other countries kit was applied directly on burns and open wounds for disinfection.

Nowadays, activated carbon is used in water filters, absorbing impurities. Activated carbon soap is very effective acne soap. Unlike many other skin cleansers, it does not leave any residue, making the skin squeaking clean. If you suffer from acne or impure skin – give it a go and you would be surprised by the effects!
Green clay is most commonly used for face masks. It is the most effective among all available clays. It is great for oily and acne skin because of its strong absorption abilities. For these reasons, all those suffering from acne would enjoy green clay soap. This very efficient acne soap will make a great addition to the daily hygiene routine.  Green clay is very rich in vitamins and minerals, your skin needs.

Another great acne soap is a colloidal silver one.  This acne soap is made of silver particles suspended in natural glycerine. Colloidal silver is an extremely strong antibacterial agent. It has been confirmed that colloidal silver kills 650 pathogens, including those living on the human skin surface, such as Propionibacterum acne, a bacterium responsible for causing acne.

Colloidal silver soap also displays great cleansing properties, removing access of sebum from the skin surface, leaving it shine and healthy. Great natural solutions for all those who find synthetic disinfectant too harsh for their skin type!
