Here we are going to mention the top wine regions of the world that are definitely worth to visit:

Europe

La Rioja – Spain

The Colchagua Valley has a location that offers two distinctive micro-climates that are ideal to produce the famous and fine Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon chilean wines. 

Mendoza – Argentina 

Around 70% of all the wine produced in Argentina comes from this beautiful region. Located in the Eastern side of Los Andes, these vineyards are planted at some of the highest altitudes in the world, the average site locates 900 to 1500 metres above sea level. Mendoza wines are famous for the full bodied fruity flavors because of the cool weather. Malbec & the Tempranillo are a must if you are visiting this area

Stellenbosch- South Africa

Home of one the most prestigious viticultural schools in the world — the University of Stellenbosch- and famous for its fantastic argentinian wines, Stellenbosch hosts over 150 wineries and tasting locations, making it one of the top tourism destinations in South Africa. Its landscape confines expansive fields loaded with long, rolling hillsides, granite soil and mountain scapes. If you are passing by this region you must try any variety of Pinotage wine, which comes from the Pinotage, South Africa’s national grape, variety that was essentially crafted crossing between Pinot Noir and Cinsault — a Southern French grape.

The Marlborough Region – New Zealand

Despite its relatively small geographical size compared with other New Zealand wine regions Marlborough was the one who put New Zealand on the international wine stage with its exquisite Sauvignon Blanc in the 1980s. The Yarra Valley stands as one of the Australia’s oldest wine regions, it dates back to 1838, and has achieved a global reputation for its chardonnay and pinot noir wine varieties.
