Donate Books for a good cause

Helping a family in need may bring you joy and happiness and it is never too late to help someone. SDDS was created with that aim in mind, namely to help the families who have children with Down syndrome and to educate the entire community about what it means. You can help these families by providing San Diego Book Donations. You can Donate Books, items of clothing, toys or household items, anything you think will help the families.

This organization sponsors social activities for the families who have children with special needs. Free trips to Sea World or LEGOLAND are among the types of activities they provide and they are both fun and educational for the children. In this way, they can promote and support learning experiences by real life events. Bear in mind that these children are very visual and going on these trips is really beneficial as they can learn greatly from these experiences.

If you do not have a person in your family who has Down syndrome, Autism or any other special need, you probably do not know much about their needs and capacities. San Diego Down Syndrome.org wants to raise awareness among the communities so that every individual has accurate information regarding Down syndrome. Thus, people will be able to understand better what Down syndrome is and how it manifests itself.

There are so many families out there who have children with special needs and who need the help of others. Now, you can do a good deed and Donate Books so that these children will have what to read. Children with this type of problem love to read and you can bring a smile upon their face by doing something good. Beside the San Diego Book Donations, you can also donate DVDs, clothes, bikes or any household item of your choice.

If you Donate Books, you will help the organization to raise funds and to provide books to those children with special needs. They accept books, CDs, DVDs, video games or small household items. If you would like to do something more besides San Diego Book Donations, do not forget that you can volunteer. Any type of activity is welcomed and you will be rewarded by knowing you have helped a family in need.

Having to deal with Down syndrome is harsh, both for the person who has it and for the family. The organization was founded by John Leslie in 2011 after he retired from the tax accounting business in order to take care of his family, as he has two children with Down syndrome. The members of the staff working at this organization are compassionate and nice people who are ready to help and support the new parents with children with Down syndrome and to sponsor group activities for them to enjoy.

Are you aware of how many children have Down syndrome? You can help them by making San Diego Book Donations to SDDS! Donate Books and other items and you will make at least one family happy!
