Equipped with a new processor to improve CPU performance, real-time performance

 Recently, the Beckhoff Industrial PC product series has added a CX20x3 embedded controller equipped with AMDRyzen processor. This powerful embedded can be equipped with TwinCAT 2 software or TwinCAT 3 software.

   This new embedded controller is very suitable for installing 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems, namely TwinCAT2 and TwinCAT 3. Users can choose Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019LTSC or Beckhoff's latest TwinCAT/BSD operating system.

Currently this embedded controller is available in two models:
  - CX2033: Fanless embedded controller equipped with AMD Ryzen V1202B CPU (clock frequency: 2.3 GHz, dual core), no rotating parts
  - CX2043: High-performance embedded controller, equipped with ball bearings and speed control fan, equipped with AMDRyzen V1807B CPU (clock frequency: 3.35 GHz, quad-core)
    AMD processors are based on the powerful Zen architecture, which combines high computing power with high clock frequency. In addition, its integrated graphics card does not share the CPU cache and has excellent real-time performance.
   The basic configuration of CX20x3 includes 2 independent Gbit Ethernet ports, 4 USB 3.1 Gen.2 ports and 1 DVI-D port. In addition to the CPU and chipset, the basic configuration also includes 8 GB of RAM. The controller can be booted from the CFast flash card. The CPU has a built-in 128 kB NOVRAM, which is used to save power-off data without a UPS. Fieldbus and serial interface are available as options.
   All other components in the CX2000 series can be connected through the multi-pole interface on both sides. Its operating temperature range is -25...+60 °C, which also allows the system to be used in harsh weather conditions.
