  1. Make the case study easy-to-read format

No one would like to see your case studies with chunky paragraphs. Writing informative and interesting content will not help if you use wrong formatting. You must utilise good formatting elements like bulleted lists, headers, bolded & italicised text and images. It will help the readers find the most important parts of the case study. Making your case study engaging will not be enough. It should be well-written and laid out in a concise manner. Most readers will skim your case study to find important information.

  1. Tell a story

Present a solution to the readers that they will find useful. Present a scenario when the solution comes in handy for the customers. This will encourage the readers to look into your solution.

  1. Make the right balance of words and images

Adding images to the case study is obviously a good idea to make your case study look appealing. But when you add too many images without enough description, it becomes difficult for the readers to understand what the image is supposed to illustrate. And it can also break the flow of your story. So you need to find the right balance of words and images for the readers to relate.

  1. Add enough data for illustrating key points

If you are asked to give IKEA case study analysis, adding anecdotes will not be enough to make your points. Collecting hard data is necessary to create an informative case study project. Identify a common problem, and add relevant data that directly reflects how your solution is best for the problem. Having said that, every business is not data-driven. So you can use time-lapse videos to show before and after images.

No matter whatever you choose to do, adding data and evidence is necessary for supporting your major points in the case study.
