Drawn Texturized yarn is manufactured when Polyester partially oriented yarns are twisted as well as drawn simultaneously. This manufacturing process scatters, curls, and entangles the threads comprising the partially oriented yarns, which gives drawn textured yarn a soft appearance and gives it the properties of natural as well as synthetic fiber. This textured yarn is known as a heat thread set and bulky filament. It is mainly used in fabrics weaving and knitting for manufacturing clothes, sportswear, home furnishings, bags, seat covers, high-end apparel, home furnishings, high-end sports shoes, and zipper tapes, and various other uses. It can be in Triloble Bright, Semi Dull, or Bright depending upon the section type of filaments.

To make the dramatic properties of polyester textured yarns similar to the natural fibers, ineffective twisting, the process of texturizing and friction disk, partially oriented yarns change to textured yarns.

Polyester textured yarn can be obtained in numerous colors with the help of dope dyed technology or by the process of conventional dyeing. Dope dyed textured yarn is usually packed in paper bobbins while Raw White yarn that is used for dyeing is packed loosely on a pierced plastic tube that all the yarn can easily dye when the bobbin is dunked in color.

Texturizing process

Texturizing is an activity set in which artificial fibers like polyester, nylon, etc., get alike properties to natural fibers like cotton, silk, wool, etc. This means when it comes to touching fabrics, the kind of tissue and form, it becomes an appropriate fiber for producing the fabrics.

In simple words, texturizing yarn is defined as the processes set used to make artificial fibers for producing textiles. Polyester textured fibers which are textured or stretched, have the spring property.

Drawn Texturized Yarn is a completely drawn, entirely oriented polyester multifilament yarn with high bulk, soft crimp, and texture with the feel of cotton fabric and extremely high durability and properties of retention. This is synthetic fabric by texturizing partly oriented yarn using high tech texturizing machines.

Types of drawn textured yarns and usage:

Intermingle yarn, which is manufactured in three types such as simple, intermingle means knotted and comingle. It is commonly used in sofa fabric, shirts, curtain, linen, worsted, suit, carpet cover and other carpets, machine woven pile of carpets, and several industrial usages. Drawn textured yarn is suitable for fabric end uses such as outer/inner garments, furnishings, skin-clinging garments, upholstery, etc. Knotted textured yarns are consumed usually as Beam threads.

Lycra:

It is one of the types of highly durable synthetic textured fibers that has several applications in the textile industry. The lycra yarn is extremely resistant and has a high stretching ability of approx. 5 times its original length. The elasticity of lycra makes the clothes size after washing, do not make any change to its original shape, dissimilar to cotton fabrics that vary in original size and shape. Moreover, it can be used for winter and athletic sports to be used.
