Denmark manager Morten Olsen has mocked England’s FIFA 14 Coins PC after his side’s narrow 1-0 loss to the Three Lions at Wembley, Daily Mail reports.

Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge popped up with a late header to earn a win for the hosts, but Olsen was not impressed by what he saw of Roy Hodgson’s side.

“Good luck in the World Cup… you’ll need it,” the Dane said as he left the post-match press conference.

He added, “I think that England have a young team with a lot of quickness. It’s promising for the future, but if it’s enough for the World Cup?

“I think we would have won if Christian Eriksen was playing tonight.”

Hodgson immediately came up to defend his team after Olsen’s criticism, saying: “I don’t care about that. Every team will need good luck. We didn’t need it tonight, that’s for sure.”

The game saw the international debut of Southampton left back Luke Shaw, as well as a second cap for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling.

The England manager was delighted at the performance of the youngsters before his plans to finalize a 23-man squad for the World Cup.

“Over half of the players we have in this squad are under 23,” Hodgson said. “We are looking in that direction, but I don’t feel under obligation to pick young players.

“The younger players are doing well at the moment. Hopefully you will be impressed with their performances, and I’ll have to make a decision going forward.

“You couldn’t get me to say anything negative about any of the FIFA 14 PC Coins on today.”
