HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location from your computer.
  • After the application opens click start and select your printer and retry.
  • Click yes if the screen prompts.

If the printer shows offline, set the printer manually.

Check the printer port and service status of your windows:

  • Open control panel and from view devices and printers right click on printer properties.
  • Click on the port tab and check if your printer uses the WSD port.
  • Search for services from services list Locate the function discovery provider host and function discovery resource publication and check status and start-up.
  • Check for the running service and start-up to automatic.
  • Go back to the devices and printers window and click F5.
  • The printer is no longer offline.

If the printer is still offline:

These issues occur when there is an incomplete installation of drivers and other necessary setups are prompted. Make sure you keep the latest versions of the drivers and always make sure they are compatible.

What to do when you see these messages?

  • When these types of errors or messages occur, don’t panic.
  •  These issues occur due to faulty electrical supply too.
  • Make sure you have a proper supply in your printer and your device is turned on.
  • Keep a check on the availability check on your device because sometimes printers lose connections without any prior information. Always save changes to your data.

Now run the printer for a test and check the cartridges. If the issue reoccurs make sure you troubleshoot your device by going through control panel settings or Windows Automated Tool. More info:- https://hpprintersupport.us/
