Have you got a nagging query about the upcoming DFB Cup final between FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund? Well this Friday, bundesliga.com is offering you the chance to grill legendary Bundesliga centre-half Christoph Metzelder on the subject.The 47-time German international, who featured for Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid CF and FC Schalke 04, winning both the FIFA 14 Coins PC and Spain's La Liga during a prominent career, will be on hand to field your questions from 2 to 3pm GMT (4 to 5pm CEST) on the Bundesliga’s official Twitter account. 'Always a top-class clash'

Metzelder is well aware of what it takes to lift the DFB Cup having won the competition with FC Schalke 04 in 2010/11, but talking on football chat show Doppelpass this weekend, the 33-year-old was of the belief that the end-of-season form shown by the finalists would have a distinct bearing on proceedings.

“I think there are always cycles within a season,” said Metzelder. “Dortmund’s form is on the rise, while Bayern seem to have stagnated. Furthermore, BVB have created a perfect template to counteract Bayern’s style of play.” Irrespective of how recent fixtures have been decided, this particular head-to-head is “always an incredible, top-class clash. Dortmund always make life very difficult for Bayern.”
