The upcoming Movie Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan celebrated his 32th birthday on May 1. The 32-year- old Irish actor who plays the role of Christian Grey is reportedly losing his mind due to the popularity and hype surrounding the upcoming movie “Fifty Shades…”
Jamie Dornan told The Guardian that the hype surrounding the upcoming movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” is getting out of hand.”It’s just all a bit silly the way it works. I think I could lose my mind,” he said, adding that it’s “ridiculous” the amount of attention he’s getting by portrayingChristian Grey. Jamie Dornan also said that: “I’m tired. I’m tired”, referencing his “mad year, professionally, personally” as the star of Fifty Shades of Grey, a part-time serial killer, and a first-time father, after his wife, Amelia Warner, gave birth to a daughter in November. According to inquistir.com, the adaptation of the erotic novel written by E.L. James has become one of the most anticipated movie recently. And Universal Pictures is taking full advantage of the hype by scheduling the release of the movie on 13th February 2015.
The “Fifty Shades…” lead star Jamie Dornan who portrays the hot businessman Christian Grey was hesitant at first to accept the role for fear of being typecast. The New York Daily News said that he’s hoping to get some roles in the future that don’t involve denigrating women. Part of hesitation was probably because the film requires a lot of bareness, which Dakota Johnson, plays the role of Anastasia Steele, has no problem doing. In the March issue of Elle magazine,” Fifty Shades of Grey” cast Dakota Johnson said:”I don’t have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame.” She added: “Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally. I think there’s a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down.”
Ironically though, it is Dornan whose hands are tied, when it comes to talking about his biggest film project to date and one of the primary sources of his exhaustion. When asked about Fifty Shades of Grey, the actor says, “I don’t think I’m allowed to say anything, mate.” And yet the scale of the project, and the attention he’s received for it, does seem to weigh on him. Now that the movie is completed and “Everyone is very happy how the movie came out and to have it in the can,” the actor will have to deal with the fame and fans that come with the success. However, he isn’t too pleased about being thruster into the spotlight.
Fifty Shades of Grey, which stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan in its lead roles. It’s been reported that the film might put the focus more on the romantic than the erotic when it comes to taking E.L. James work to the big screen.
