The JSS Dental College was established in 1986-87 and is recognized by the Government of India and also the Dental Council of India. From 2008-09 it is affiliated to the Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University. It conducts BDS and MDS courses in 9 divisions and post graduate diploma in 5 specialties. It is sprawled over an area of 38 acres and has open spaces with lush green grass and tall trees to provide you a cool atmosphere even during the afternoon times. The faculty consists of professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers. They are well experienced and dedicated, always ready to help and guide the students.
JSS Dental College and Hospital offers excellent facilities to the students and provides them the correct ambience to grow into competent doctors. There are separate departments for each branch and they are well equipped with all modern equipments. The library at the college has a wide collection of books which the students can use for reference and for getting any information they want.
