Dr. Hayduke was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. He was awarded a four-year merit scholarship and pursued undergraduate studies in biology. He was active in molecular biology research, received multiple research awards, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (summa cum laude). During this vigorous training, Dr. Hayduke participated in some of the most technically demanding procedures imaginable, including the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer, kidney transplantation, and emergency ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs.

After graduating from his general surgery residency, Dr. Hayduke was chosen from an extremely competitive pool of applicants for formal plastic surgery training at the Ohio State University Medical Center. This plastic surgery residency program meets the exceedingly high standards of full accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. During his plastic surgery residency, Dr. Hayduke had extensive exposure to some of the most advanced cosmetic surgical procedures performed today.
