For all those who don't know who Dirk Kreuter is, allow me to introduce you. A Dutch football coach, he's coached teams from across the world. As part of a larger training team, he works as an instructor in the Netherlands' famous VOC, or VOC Zagreb School of Sport Management. The faculty runs several workshops and seminars every year so as to introduce aspiring coaches and supervisors to the best methods of management and team building. In our next meetingwe had a chance to go over selling to Sales Representatives and Dirk decided that it was important for all of us to bring this subject up at the convention. In our second sessionwe had an opportunity to address a bunch of people that have been selling to their own managers and owners and this caused us to a new understanding of salespeople. To begin with, these are individuals who have been in operation for ten decades and have succeeded in constructing big organizations. They know what it takes to get tasks and to build huge teams. Second of all, these are the people who know how to represent themselves at the finest possible way. If they use their time wisely, these are the individuals who will be able to get the best commissions from their sales groups.

Among the lessons that we learned in the experience was that the sales person has to know the difference between selling to the client and selling into the customer. Sales people need to get a certain esteem and confidence if they are going to be successful. Their function is to recognize the customer needs and then come up with a means to satisfy those requirements and create a sale. By doing this, the sales folks become sales folks and they no longer are sales people but advisers who are educating the sales folks.

Within our third meeting, we discussed using a seminar presentation that included plugging the presentations into the presentation software at our disposal. In this way the pluggable presentations could be run even though there were no webcams. This manner, we can observe the sales demonstrations on our computer screens and the pluggable demonstrations would be on the hard drives. That way, the pluggable demonstration would still receive exactly the exact results he got from his tradition. This is an option which Kirk Kreckter has used in his own career and it works very well.

The last thing that we discussed was the use of e-books to educate people to become more powerful sales individuals. The e-books are publications which include information and material that can be downloaded from the world wide web. The sales man only has to hand the e-book out during a conference or meeting and in return, the people can find a duplicate of the info. On occasion the folks will get the info on CD or DVD. The benefit to this procedure is that the people who get the e-book in an electronic format may publish it and take click to find out more them to the workplace or to school and put it to good use.
