Café Carlisle: The Sycamore Tree

Whether you are one of our loyal local customers or just passing through Longtown, Carlisle you will always receive a warm reception from us at The Sycamore Tree Café.

Our behind café Carlisle menu is composed of everything from a light snack to full course hot and tasty meals. Our daily café menu has nothing less than the perfect selection. You will be sure to find something to enjoy. We are happy to welcome any guests whether they stop for a meal or just a quick cup of coffee.

The Bed and Breakfast Longtown

Our AA four-star bed and breakfast Longtown, Carlisle has two spacious and modern rooms, designed to provide accommodation for up to three adults. All of our rooms are designed to be family friendly. Complementary features, which come standard with both our rooms include:

•             Tea, coffee, Hot Chocolate, and delicious biscuits to go with them

•             Luxury Bath Towels

•             Hospitality Trays

•             Hair Dryer

•             Remote Controlled Fan

•             Widescreen colour TV

•             Iron and Ironing Board

•             Complimentary Toiletry bag

•             Slippers and Dressing Gown

Our toiletry bag contains shampoo and conditioner. Feel free to take it home with you. Use the toiletries to wash away the stress of the day before slipping into the comfortable dressing gown and slippers provided. In the morning, join us for a home cooked meal to start the day.

Our café Carlisle is available to guests during the day. After hours, we will be happy to cook for you.

The Border Queen Room

The Border Queen sleeps 2 people. It is suitable for families with young children and comes with a double four-poster bed. The room is designed to have room for two adults with room for a child-sized bed and travel cot, both available to our guests by request.

Rates: Double - £70.00, Single - £45.00, Family - £75.00 All prices are per room, per night

The Border King Room

The Border King sleeps 1, 2, or 3 adults. The room includes two super king beds.

Rates: All rates are per room, per night. Twin/ Super King - £65.00, Single - £35.00, Family/Triple - £75.00.

Since we took control over the Sycamore Tree in 2005, we have made considerable changes. We opened are AA four-star bed and breakfast and introduced both a ‘meals on wheels’ program and regular steak night. It is a great honor to be able to serve the Longtown community with the help of the local authority.

As the Sycamore tree grows so do we. We are always looking for new ways to increase the comfort and experience of our clients.
