Get the Most Out of Air Fresheners

Air fresheners are a common household item these days commonly used to cover up the cooking odor, damp air smell, bathroom odors or antiquity in common. The first modern air freshener was made in 1948. You may be astonished to know that its function was based on a military technology for the purpose of dispensing insecticides and adapted into a highly pressurized can with a CFC (Chloro Fluro Carbon) propellant. Many a number of air freshener is available in the market these days which have relied on the use of chemicals and artificial scents mainly.
Decorative candles also called as scented candles are also easily available in the market in various designs and colors. These candles when lighted will start producing scented fumes which spread all over the room very fast. Usually these are available in the market in various flavors like Rose, Lavender, Jasmine, Lime etc..
In order to have a better and long lasting result for these fresheners there are a couple of things those are to be looked into.
•To maintain air quality is the most important. This can be achieved by having proper ventilation for the room to maintain an indoor air quality.
•While using air fresheners in a room, house, wardrobe etc, make sure the bad odor producing source is removed first. This is of course of much importance. This provides better effect and long life for the air freshener that you are using. For e.g.; if you are going to use a wardrobe air freshener then make sure that there are no damp clothes or old dresses in the wardrobe as this reduces the effect of the air freshener.
Wardrobe air freshener is available in many forms these days. The cheapest kind of them are in the tab form. These chemical scented tablets are readily available in the market. Just buy them from a shop and keep them somewhere in your wardrobe. This reduces the bad odor from your wardrobe, but retains the chemical odor. Your dresses may even have the smell of this chemical later on and you may have to use another perfume to remove those. This is the case when you go for a cheap air freshener.
If you have plans of investing in a better smelled or scented air freshener, then go for a jelly type plastic packed freshener. This can be hung somewhere neatly behind the doors of the wardrobe or can be hung on the sides. This produces a better pleasant smell inside the wardrobe provided, make sure bad odor sources are not their inside the wardrobe for a better and long lasting result.
