An Insight into how Bifenazate is being utilized as insecticide in major agriculPosted by coherent market insights on December 30th, 2020 Bifenazate resistance to insecticides has been identified in several insect populations in Australia and in the U.S. The slow emergence of resistance to carbofuran pesticides in Australia and the low toxicity of the insecticide make it an economical choice in treating both indoor and outdoor pests. The main reason for the slow emergence of resistance to the insecticide is that as part of the selection process for selecting resistant insects, a chemical agent is inadvertently selected that is weaker than the insecticide itself. It is for this reason that Bifenazate is not applied to all pest situations in the same way as other carbofuran. Bifenazate is frequently applied in combination with permethrin and lacquer insecticides. Pyrethrin is known to have low toxicity for both human beings and animals and has been effective against both pests in controlled experiments.
