If you are trying to decide which type of art file you'd like to use for the lesson or studio project, you'll see a large selection of art files from the Teacher Resources / Gallery link. Open artwork files are a terrific way to provide students with a vast array of art formats. You may use the links on the left side of the page to quickly navigate to the category of art that interests you; then select the open art format for each artwork image that you need to use on your lesson.
To access the galleries you have to login as a new user into the website and select the"Galleries" link in the left panel menu. On this page you'll see links to each of the significant art galleries in addition to other categories that help you narrow down your search. You will be able to look at examples of art files including sculptures, paintings, photographic images, art prints, posters, and photographic functions.
There's also a search feature on the top menu bar for searching for special art graphics.  You'll find a lot of examples of paintings and items in this large collection.
If you're thinking about purchasing artworks for your own private collection, you'll find lots of examples in the British Museum. The British Museum has a permanent collection of over two thousand artworks. You can either view these images in person in the National Gallery or download them on your own computer. The British Museum also includes a permanent exhibition of local and world renowned artworks of the European Renaissance period.
Reproduction fax copies can be made of many of the artworks available. There's also a catalog which provides a complete history of the sculptures and paintings which are part of this group. A Number of the works are on display throughout the year in the Saatchi Gallery.
The internet is now an excellent resource for both buying and selling of artworks and there are numerous sites devoted to selling and purchasing of artworks. You may be able to find reproductions that you enjoy on sites like eBay. Some people may prefer to go to an art museum to buy something which they like looking at but some people may not have enough time or the inclination to invest money travelling to find a gallery in person. No matter the choice of medium you choose, whether you purchase from the internet, a shop or from a museum, the artwork image you choose will have an enduring impact on how you enjoy taking a look at art.
