After giving birth to the baby the core abdominal muscles and lower back becomes weak, therefore prior to starting exercising after delivery slight pain might be noticed. Special care and attention has to be also taken as the joints and ligaments too become supple. There are chances of twisting or stretching, hence extra care has to be taken while doing an exercise after pregnancy.

In addition to exercising, new mothers have to also eat healthy balanced diet. With the intake of balanced diet the nutrients gets optimized in the health and body can also process food in a better way. Most doctors also advice the new mothers to eat little and often so that the blood sugar level is balanced. Post natal exercise classes can help a new mother in many ways, including guidance on eating habits.  

Walking is the most popular and effective way to lose weight after pregnancy. Walking helps to improve the health both physically and psychologically. These days, many new mothers are trying to push their buggy. Apart from enhancing your cardiovascular fitness and burning calories, pushing the buggy is considered to be complete body exercise to improve muscle tone. When you get out in the open air  there is improvement in the overall sense of well being along with improving in the mental state. When you take your baby out during the evening intervals, you also get an opportunity to talk to other mothers and share their experiences.
