Maintaining grooming and beauty routines is undoubtedly not very complicated. Well maintained brows take just the right touch a lot of restraint. However, you may need some guidance on how to shape and maintain the eyebrows at home precisely. Here are certain things to know about maintaining the eyebrows at home, if you are not going for professional brow shaping.

1# Finding the Natural Eyebrow Shape

Start with figuring out where you would tweeze or wax the hairs. You will surely not want to take off too much air. It would help if you determined the natural eyebrow shape first. Why not start by lining up the points using the bottom half of the makeup brush or pencil. From the very outermost point of the nose, line the brush straight up vertically toward the eye. From the next notch on the nose, line the brush up diagonally moving across the middle of your eye. It is where the arch is naturally highest. From the same point on the nose, slant the brush diagonally to the end of the eye. It is the point where the brow should end.

2# Eyebrow Hair You Should Tweeze or Wax

When you are tweezing or waxing, remove the smallest amount of hair you can get at least at first. If you take off too much hair, it is not possible to add it back. Some would like to use a brow pencil to draw a line under the eyebrow where they want their brow. They only all hair under that line has to be removed. The shape is created from the top of the brow. Hence use a very minimalistic tweeze.

3# Don’t Use Scissors to Trim Your Eyebrow

While you may have seen your stylist trim your brows with scissors to create the right face-framing look, however, it is tough to do at home. Trimming the brows is tricky and may change the shape and the looks of the face. If you want to manage the brow hairs better, it is better to use a shaping gel while waiting for the next styling appointment. Using a tiny brush, you can easily maneuver and manage the brow styling appointment.

Finally,

There is no need to wax if you are not confident with waxing skills. It is better to go for tweezing. You can always go for professional brow shaping for fresh styles and clarity that may not be possible trying things at home.
