When it comes to setting off on new adventures on pavements, hidden paths and forgotten trails, Nashbar has always been there to offer a much-needed hand. With well constructed mountain bikes outfitted with quality components, Nashbar has managed to establish itself as a force to be reckoned with.

That is why I was excited to try out the  bike, in the hopes that I could discover a new addition to my mountain biking collection. I was not disappointed!

The Nashbar AT2 hardtail mountain bike makes use of 26-inchwheels, a 24-speed drivetrain, a Suntour fork with 80mm travel, and respectable evolution tires.The result is a maneuverable, agile, and tough mountain bike that will accompany you on your next adventure.

As I mentioned earlier, the Nashbar AT2 is composed of a multitude of features that has gained it immense popularity. Below we will look at each of these features.

Great Frame and Suspension

The frame of the AT2 is made up of strong and lightweight SE 1 aluminum alloy, and is complemented by a Suntour suspension fork with 80mm travel. When you combine these two features together you get a solid mountain bike with the ability to overcome trails and paths riddled with bumps and rocks, all the while taking the jolts and stings out of the ride.

Reliable Drivetrain

The gearing of the Nashbar AT2 is made up of a 24-speed drivetrain, which is supported by Shimano EZ-Fire shifters and Shimano Altus and Acera front and rear derailleurs.

The drivetrain therefore, affords its riders with a wide range of gears to choose from, which are both precise and reliable in nature. The result  is a high-performing drivetrain that makes your rides enjoyable.

Strong Wheels and Tires

The Nashbar is a 26er with strong and agile Wienmann wheels and Evolution tires. While the wheels work to provide you with a solid and dependable riding experience, the tires work to provide maximum traction on a wide variety of terrain for a more exciting experience.

As you can deduce from the review above, Nashbar AT2 provides a versatile and smooth riding experience through its reliability, durable and solidly built bike.
