What Can Water Distillers Be Used For?

Water distillers are to some a complete mystery. What do they do? Is it all just about drinking water and if so what exactly does it do to our drinking water? Well here we go into the many different uses of distilled water and just how it benefits our lives.

Drinking water

Perhaps the most obvious choice when it comes to uses for a water distiller and for some the only choice. With numerous chemicals and additives mixed within our supposedly safe tap water it’s no wonder so many now look to methods of purifying it. Its ability to remove fluoride amongst other substances, unlike filter systems, has meant a growth in popularity along with more of an awareness of the harmful toxins found in our everyday drinking water. The benefits of drinking distilled water are numerous too. Not only are we preventing harmful chemicals from entering our body but we’re also helping remove excess toxins already in there as the pure water will absorb any nasty substances and flush your system. With research suggesting the additives in our tap water can actually cause serious harm over long-term use, this reason alone is enough to make most want a home distiller.

Sanitising

Used within the dental industry to help sanitise equipment several times a day because of its lack of impurities, distilled water has more important uses than just providing us with safe drinking water. It’s also used within the medical field to help flush out wounds too, as well as dissolving chemicals in laboratories because the chemicals and toxins already in our drinking water could cause an unwanted reaction.

Cooking

Water Distiller System is great for cooking and washing food too. It’s believed the purity of the water when used to wash fruit or vegetables, along with boiling, makes the food taste even better than normal. With pure water being absorbed into the food it means the garnishes, spices and the actual produce itself will have far more flavour and less chemicals and toxins masking it. Try making a cup or tea or coffee with water from a home distiller and see for yourself.

Everyday use

Although many aren’t aware of it, using purified water is actually a necessity for many at home machines. Machines such as steam irons, humidifiers, baby bottle warmers and basically any other piece of kit that uses water vapour will benefit from purified water from a water distiller. Using regular tap water can mean minerals and debris left behind which eventually builds up within the system leading to an early breakdown. It’s also great for cleaning, as the purified water doesn’t leave streaks or watermarks.

With this in mind it’s hard to think of a reason not have an at home distiller, with benefits extending far beyond cooking and everyday use to promoting a healthier and happier you.
