Front-line soldier proposes on TV A British soldier posted in Afghanistan has proposed marriage to his girlfriend in the UK live on television.Using a satellite link, Warrant Officer Second Class Nick Walker, 35, asked his girlfriend of five years, Colleen Brady, to marry him as she sat in the GMTV studio.Nick went down on one knee at Camp Bastion in Helmand province and said: "I'm sorry I can't be with you this Christmas, but I want to try and make it as special as I can since I'm away over in Afghanistan."We've been together for five years and I love you so much. And to show my love for you, this is what I want to do."Colleen, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. Will you marry me?"            The 30-year-old nurse, who lives with Nick in Hereford, controlled her tears and replied: "Of course I will.
