A Look Into Messenger Bot - Custom Fields & User Input

Posted by Frost Hull on January 12th, 2021

As we have discussed in previous articles, the Messenger Bot has an in-built system to allow users to create their own user input and custom fields. This is achieved by the bot browsing through the web pages you have specified in it's settings. Upon finding the types of data you wish to collect from users, the bot will then prompt you for the information you need to collect. In the case above, if you wish to collect data from a number of users, you simply select the number of users, and in turn the bot will request all the information from them. However, in New Facebook Messenger Bot User Input & Custom Fields to create your own input, you need to define the fields that will be accepted by Messenger Bot, and which will not. This is where the use of the Bot User Input & Custom Fields Plugin comes in. The Bot User Input & Custom Fields plugin allows you to define the type of data you want to collect, what kind of data you wish to collect from each user, and how you want to collect the information from the users. For example, you can set the custom fields to collect email addresses, IP addresses, or just the username and password. You can also set the fields to only collect data from a certain group of users, or to collect data from a number of different users at once. These are simple things, and you will find that using the Bot to help you with your marketing campaigns is much more effective than trying to do it yourself manually. In addition, the way the Messenger Bot automatically updates itself makes it highly customizable as well. There is no need to write any programs yourself, so it allows you to spend more time developing new strategies and testing new ideas. To use the Bot for your own marketing campaigns, you need to define the fields that the user will enter in to add themselves to your database. Then, you need to install the plugins that will allow you to collect the data, as well as the ability for Messenger Bot to update the data on the fly. The Bot also lets you define how users are going to enter their user input & custom fields. Now all that's left is for you to sign up users and start collecting the data.
