How To Use Glitter Powder As Makeup

Glitter powder is sophisticated and fun at the same time. However, if it is meant to be used as make up, then it should be used sparingly. Smaller the particles, the more chic the looks will be.  While using the rainbow glitter powder for your makeup, take the following tips in mind.  You do not have to match; the experts say that your lip gloss and eye shadow do not have to match by using the glitter with the same shades. The glitter and the makeup have to be complementary.  Gold particles look pretty when they are used with warm or earthy colors such as olive and brown, silver can look flattering in purple and blue.

Apply them before you put on your dress: the glitter powder can be messy so you should apply it on before you put on your dress.  Before you apply the metallic glitter powder, you have to make sure that you have grounded it. If you want to avoid the shimmer or the loose glitter to be all over you face. You have to use nude or clear cream or base under your shadow first and you have to make sure that you applied the rainbow glitter powder when it is still wet.

Be aware of the right tools to use with your metallic glitter powderIf you are using loose glitter, if you use the fingers, it will not be precise. You should use a small sponge since it is the easier way that you will be able to keep the glitter in one place.  You should avoid using the glitter on the oily spot. This is because the reason of putting on the glitter is that it can reflect the light so there is no need to use it where you are already shining.  If you are not aware of how you can keep the glitter into the same place, you should consider using baked glitter.
