Men are spending more on their pre-nuptial parties compared with women, a new survey has found.Three quarters of men polled by Hotels admitted that their celebrations go on for a weekend or longer, while 59% of women said their hen parties last for just a day.Stags splash out i179 on average for each party, while hens spend i118 on average.Alison Couper, communications director of Hotels, said:  Traditionally the wedding day is all about the bride, so it would seem that many grooms use their stag do as an opportunity to share the limelight ahead of the big day. The survey also found that stags are more likely to travel beyond Britain's shores to party. A third of stag parties are held abroad, with 5% of them in locations as far away as the US or Canada.            The poll revealed that only one in four hen parties are held overseas, with 28% of brides saying they do not go beyond their home town for a pre-nuptial party.London is the favourite place for both stags and hens for pre-nuptial celebrations.
