The killer is dead - long live the killer! After the sadly tried Marybeth had split the skull of marsh beast Victor Crowley in the last scene of "Hatchet II" with the exclamation "Fuck you, you asshole!" And let it explode with an aimed shot to be on the

Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder) is history. Following on from the final woman versus monster duel in "Hatchet II", the only survivor Marybeth (Danielle Harris) supposedly brings the bloody fight to an end once and for all by sawing the deformed monster up and bleeding it in the swamp. When she hits the local police station, however, her story is not believed. Instead, it is assumed that she herself caused the massacre in the mud and she is locked in a cell. Only when the journalist Amanda (Caroline Williams) shows up in prison and has doubts about Crowley's death, the police send a SWAT unit armed to the teeth into the swampy darkness to get to the bottom of things on the ground. Crowley, however, survived the dismemberment after a short break in the body bag and is shrinking the unfortunate forensics team head to head ... "We're fucked, we're fucked, we're so fucking fucked!" Adam Green and BJ McDonnell deliver with "Hatchet III" exactly what the splatter-affine fan base of Victor Crowley wants to see: Several dozen cruelly massacred victims and the tried and tested, tongue-in-cheek mixture of "Friday the 13th" and "The Thing from the Swamp" where you take yourself seriously in the rarest moments. Once the logic has been ruined, it finally slaughters and hacked it openly: Anyone looking for an answer to the question of why a SWAT team fires volleys of bullets into the gigantic body of Crowley in the hope of an end to the atrocities when Crowley does previously survived an exploded skull and the sawing into its individual parts without damage, is definitely in the wrong film. This time the "Hatchet" makers are spared a new cast of the female lead, as was the case from Part 1 to Part 2, but the events also focus much less on the only survivor: Danielle Harris mimes Crowley's archenemy Marybeth again, but is far away Only stretching instead of in the middle, because she is powerless in the prison cell or handcuffed in the police car. Of course, the slaughter festival in the swamp still culminates in the grand final duel between Crowley and Marybeth, and the fake blood sprays gallons of severed necks and bodies torn to pieces onto the camera lens. Mind you, completely without CGI: Like its two predecessors, “Hatchet III” is a nod to the slasher wave of the 80s, the effects and mask are handmade and this time the body count is a whole lot higher. watch and download movies free plucks skulls, organs and spine from collapsing bodies almost every minute, and blood-smeared testicles hang from tree branches on their own vas deferens - if you can laugh about it and have a robust stomach, you will get your money's worth in "Hatchet III". Conclusion: "Hatchet III" offers exactly what you expect. The question of whether the killing machine Victor Crowley can be destroyed is more open than ever after the entertaining splatter spectacle. Because “Hatchet IV” is coming - the obligatory cliffhanger before the credits makes that unmistakably clear.
