Even bottled water isn?t as safe as using a water distiller

It’s the number one accessory for every health conscious fitness fan out there. The supposed benefits of bottled water are so great that it can cost up to 1000 times more than the price of the stuff that emerges from our taps at home but is it really healthier? As shocking as it is to hear, bottled water undergoes far less stringent safety tests than our tap water and is also much more likely to be contaminated. It therefore begs the question, is a water distiller the only real way to get safe drinking water?

The biggest safety concern with bottled water isn’t actually to do with the water itself, rather what the water comes in. A potentially fatal toxin is actually being absorbed into our bottled mineral water from the plastic bottles they come in. Research has shown that the longer the water is stored in there, the higher the levels of poison usually are. Although the average sell by date for bottled water is two years, scientists are now calling for extensive further studies into this.

Recent studies have shown traces of antimony, the chemical used in polyethylene terephthalate bottles, in the bottled water itself and it’s these types of bottles that are unfortunately used by most mineral water sellers. Small doses of this substance can make you feel ill and depressed. Larger quantities of it however can lead to vomiting and even death. Frightening reading for those who have been drinking bottled water only over a long period of time. Although the initial levels of antimony were well below the recommended levels it did show that after three months of storing the bottles the levels almost doubled. For some this is enough to make them want to revert back to drinking tap water but with the amount of fluoride, chlorine and heavy metals that lurk in there it would appear to be just as harmful.

There is one way however that we can drink water safely and that’s by using water distillers. Water distillers use Mother Nature’s own process for purifying water and produce water that’s 99.8% pure, virtually entirely pure. A water distiller from somewhere like make Water Pure allows you to create around four litres of the purest and safest water in as little as three hours. The benefits of drinking distilled water are multiple. Due to the waters pure form it leaves absolutely no residue in the human body unlike tap water, and actually helps to flush out harmful chemicals and toxins that have built up over time. It can also boost energy levels and clear problematic skin amongst other things.
