Grand Rapids, Michigan - The Perfect Setting For Shipping Container Rental

Posted by Mitchell Oneill on January 19th, 2021

Shipping Container Rental is a fascinating chance for artists in the art community. Thanks to a recently launched grant program, up to four artistic artists will be taking over transport containers set up round downtown Grand Rapids, which makes their creative work a sexy focus for town. Artists will utilize these container homes to exhibit their artwork during the months of May through August. The container houses will be available to rent by the month or a full calendar year, depending on the grant that the artist receives. In addition, many of these artistic entrepreneurs will be working closely with local businesses to provide free space to display their wares. Art enthusiasts can see Pure Michigan, located in West Oakland, to find out more about applying for this funding. The notion of using shipping containers as a platform for traveling road artwork comes out of artist Chad Timothy's want to make an experience that looks like a cross between a pub and a street fair. "The container was a blank canvas," he explained. "We painted it, whatever came to mind." In addition to housing his street art gear, Tim also serves as the event's organizer, responsible for organizing the different details of the day-a pre-show assembly, an opening reception and post-show actions like picture shoots. Visitors can meet the four artists working to transform shipping containers with free tours during the months of May through August. Another artist involved in the grand rapids' shipping container revitalization effort is Michigan established artist Gabrielle Reece. She will be altering shipping containers used from the Grand Rapids Area Development Corporation as part of its street arts program into beautiful works of permanent street art. Along with her artwork, the development company will use the spaces to house cheap tables and offices. The expectation isn't just to rent a shipping container, but to get a means for the artist to perform his art. He sees it as an chance to share some of his creative vision with other people and a way for him to showcase his songs. "This really is my most exciting moment in artistic creation, I believe," he states. "I can't wait to show it off at home or anywhere we go. It's such a liberating feeling." He's"I'd really like to see people make the most of what we're doing in regard to promoting the arts" For more details please visit Pure Michigan.
