The relationship between the role of the Ethics Psychologist

We believe that the role of the psychologist in relation to the Ethics would be linked to these questions:

-- Are ceases to be human because they psychologist? -- What should I do with what I transferencialmente produces a therapeutic intervention? -- How is structured properly or from an ethical point of view the technical knowledge, the knowledge that we have with the power that goes with it in a therapeutic link? -- How to correctly use the information we have to make a good practice? -- Can you solve a problem or another is enabled an area generating tools that allow appropriating their situation and have the freedom to choose a way forward? -- Are alienates more than what they were alienated? Is it comes to "adapt" to a reality? -- How the psychologist serving in any intervention inevitably being crossed by a sociocultural context? -- What framework and model of society is ripe for an operating ethics of psychologist? Is there an appropriate legal framework that guarantees a good speech, or good practice for the psychologists at the national level? -- And finally this question posed by Gilles Deleuze: "How can one be attracted to another to his world, or even conservándole respecting their own worlds and their own relationships?"

These questions lead us to believe that the role of the psychologist would be ethically guided by an emphasis on trying to make a good practice, heightening listening to the patient and / or demand viewing. You have to design a strategy consistent with this listening and demand raised with the use of tools and resources available to the psychologist account. Being aware and self-knowledge that account and the power it entails to know that in a therapeutic relationship or clinical intervention. Aim to use the knowledge that you have to fight replication doctor patient referral to the power of knowledge available to the technician, making a mere passive object of the intervention. While humans to be a psychologist because it is impossible. Using what gives me a link transferencialmente therapeutic for the same, trabajándolo also at the level of supervision and therapy of each staff psychologist.

That would be an ethical position in the work of professional field psi. While moral values crossed the therapist in a sociocultural context, the psychologist should be able to move beyond these moral values and rank the aspects that have to do with a good practice that will lead to the best benefit of that consultation. This without falling into the trap of thinking that what the therapist believes that it's better for the consultation which is actually the best thing for him. But that would seek to enable the space to think and create the conditions and possibilities for thethat it consults can take control of its situation and to have the freedom to decide on a way to follow. The therapist would have to be able to discern in what moment the moral values are conditioning their technical work and repelling directly in bad praxis and therefore it would be failing there ethically. That is to say, to build ethically or or of ethical form for the sicólogo does not happen to act "morally". As it specifies it To Raggio in his "By a ethics of the intervention. Notes about the ethical dimension of the psychological practice ": "... It is necessary to establish a discrimination between these two dimensions: the moral, is referred to important, valid values in any space - time, the ethics, is something diametrically opposed, in as much logical of the encounter and the affections, talk about to the produced inmanentes values in the encounter of the bodies. The ethics is therefore amoral." Good praxis would be translated or been the result of the task of a psychologist with a good formation or instruction, critical capacity at all level and the respect to the tie thing with its therapeutic task like for example the confidentiality. Also, which has to do with the freedom frame in which the psychologist must act for being able to develop his activity, that is to say, what has to do with the respect its rights like professional and the democratic context that must exist to qualify these rights at level of the psychologist and all the society. Also we think that the ethics and good praxis will be developed more and more in the measurement that these criteria that consider in the ethics code for example are normativizados, uniformizados, regulated and what it has to do with a greater legislative effectiveness as far as the professional exercise of the psychologist who really guarantees that who exert this professional practice in Uruguay they count above on the mentioned requirements.
