Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Arab Health Recruitment and Training Fair is a three-day congress and exhibition organised by Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions. This event is the region’s premier healthcare recruitment and training event. It will bring together employers, HR personnel, and job seekers under one roof, providing them with unique networking, interview, and training opportunities.

The event will take place for the first time from 18-20 October 2014 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi UAE.

“The Arab Health Recruitment and Training Fair exhibition is the region’s largest platform dedicated to healthcare recruitment and career development. Recruiters and job seekers alike will gather here to network and match valuable opportunities,” highlighted Simon Page, Managing director, Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions.

The Gulf Cooperation Council Healthcare report suggests that the GCC is unable to produce the sufficient number of clinical staff to provide healthcare for its population, meaning that up to 80% of physicians in some countries are from outside of the region, as the number of new medical graduates does not match the growth of the GCC population. This is in line with the recent UAE Ministerial Cabinet meeting that emphasised improving the efficiency and competence of the healthcare staff.

The Arab Health Recruitment & Training Fair is expected to attract 5,000 qualified healthcare professionals. This provides the opportunity for face-to-face interactions, and to build long-term business relationships with the region's leading consultants, specialists, doctors, nurses, surgeons and healthcare professionals.

The Arab Health Recruitment & Training Fair is the only dedicated healthcare recruitment event in the region. The event will bring together specialists from every aspect of the healthcare industry by leveraging the Arab Health portfolio and using the database of more than 2.3 million health professionals, the Fair will serve to satisfy all  healthcare recruitment needs.

The event also has an online system to communicate with candidates regarding a face-to-face meeting, this will enable employers to arrange interviews in advance both saving time and effort.

The show will host 18 conferences across a range of clinical and non-clinical fields.  All conferences will be free-to attend with 12 of the conferences offering CME accreditation points. These conferences will attract qualified healthcare professionals. This will ensure that the event delivers the right calibre of healthcare professional to employers seeking to hire new talent.
