You should be a bit worried about money going into the payment of your energy bills when you know the increment phase is farther afield and you are already working in an uncertain situation.

You should avoid being hungry for a longer time. Set time for your square meals, and when you feel hungry in between, you should snack or munch. When you are the empty stomach, your body feels colder.

Be physically active

If you spend the whole day idle in the blanket, you will naturally feel much colder. This is because your body is inactive. Note that when the weather is cold, it takes a lot of effort to supply blood to every part of the body, and this is why you feel your veins and bones stiff most of the time.

If you keep your body active, you will be able to save your body a bit warmer. You do not need to work out rigorously because you will lose your body heat faster if you sweat profusely. Stretching and squatting is fine if you do not want to do a brisk walk in the morning.

A rule of thumb says that you should find a balance to generate heat to stay warm but not to the point of sweating to cool you down later.
