The Different Kinds of Football Leagues in Germany

The English Premier League (Clouds) is currently the worlds most watched football league with an average of more than five hundred million people tuning in each week. This football competition has four different divisions, which are based in England. The top division, The Championship, is based in England while the middle division, The football highlights  League One, The Championship's runners up, The Conference and The League Two are based in the various countries' lower tiers.

The EPL also organizes international tournaments, which are attended by some of the top teams in the world. Every year these events attract huge audiences, which include many football fans from across the globe. International matches are held between football leagues from different countries. The latest international tournament which took place in November 2021 was the European Super Cup. There are also international friendlies included in these tournaments. The most notable event in the football leagues is the World Cup, which is held every four years, which is accompanied by a very large financial participation.

The other most significant event in the football world is the FIFA World Cup which is also organized in different countries. The Cup Winners' Cup is one of the most prestigious cups in the football world with its qualification process consisting of a playoff between the semi finalists and the finals. Among the different countries that have won the Cup Winners' Cup once is Germany who are followed by Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Italy, France and Netherlands. The current rankings of all these teams indicate the fact that Borussia Monchengladbach, Cologne, Austria and Schalke Leverland represent the three highest ranked teams in the league.

The German league system is the most recognized and largest football league in Europe by number of spectators. Another well-known football competition in Germany is the bundesliga league system, which is considered as the second division of the German footballing association. The bundesliga system comprises of ten clubs from the main football leagues of Germany. This association has its regulation and standards which are followed by its teams during football matches. One of the most well-known teams that made it to this championship is Borussia Dortmund, who are followed by FC Barcelona, Schalke, Gladbach, Arsenal, PSV Eindhoven, Vitesse, Wolves, Roma, CSKA Moscow, Werder Bremen and AZ Alkmaar.

The other division consists of two more football clubs; Borussia Monchengladbach and Hamburger SV. Both clubs play their part in the German cup competitions, which is the most awaited event by football fans all around the world. There are two stadiums, which are part of the club's stadium and these are located in the cities of Ingolheim and Hamburg. These two clubs have earned a reputation as some of the best clubs in Europe and have qualified for the quarter finals of the competition numerous times. Despite the good record of these two clubs both are still trying hard to win the German cup and ending at last above half of the league.

The third division is known as the Fussballen and it is comprised of the two teams from the second division, namely Borussia Mijas and Hamburger SV. These two teams have qualified once for the competition and are leading the standings by a large margin. The third division has four teams which are joined by the holders of the Champions League. These four teams have a lot of possibilities to qualify for the world football championship. Beside these there are other teams like Leverkusen, Gladbach, Frankfurt and Schallenged which have never performed bad in their careers in the German football league.
