This lubrication will make it easy for you to turn the handle without making any noise.  If the noise still persists, then it points out the presence of worn-out faucet body threads or stem threads. This may cause noise and vibration of the faucet resulting in disturbing noises. Lubrication is just not enough to get over this issue.

In order to get over this issue, you need to replace the existing stem with a new one. If the sound still persists, then the issue is with the faucet body thread.
