This a red grape variety that is money planted in Veneto. This grape has thick-skin that is known as the backbone of many blends such as Valpolicella and Bardolino. Dried Corvina grapes are used to produce dense and rich Aamrone Della Valpolicella and also a local dessert wine.

This variety of grape generally produces light to medium-bodied wines that usually has bright acidity, floral and cherry aroma, and nutty nuances evocative of almonds.

  1.        Dolcetto

Dolcetto is also a red grape variety that is widely planted in Piedmont. This variety of grape is generally used for producing dry and medium-bodied red wines that are deep ruby and have well-balanced acidity.

Dolcetto-based wines may range from soft and fruity styles to more intense and powerful expressions. The flavours and aroma of this wine include a combination of red and dark berries, violets, and plums. It will have a subtly bitter finish. They can be enjoyed young and also aged for longer periods.
