Sansa M240 Product Review: Great MP3 Player with the Buck

I aquired this at Best Buy recently because on the list of a sale on these. There're normally but went for . Bear in mind, someone always knows an establishment to understand it cheaper, but this is simply not an awful deal because a) Best Buy was on the horizon and b) I needed a gift card that managed to make it quicker to purchase. I watch free movies on Sansa at fmovie, that maybe what i do. Everything you Get Storage: The Sansa m240 contains a 1GB drive for files. Honestly, most of the people don't require much over this with regards to hearing music during the subway, running around the block, performing exercises, light housework, etc. You typically avoid the use of an mp3 player for upwards of 2 hours at a time, and 1GB is more than sufficient to have a decent assortment of tunes. FM tuner: Great accessory! For those who wanna catch a nearby game while jogging or you're listening for your chosen radio station's contest, it is always good to get a built-in FM tuner as an alternative to buying an extra FM transmitter add-on. You'll find 6 slots designed for preset about the Sansa m240 rebuild a whole lot easier to get stations. Voice recorder: pretty straightforward. Need to record a directory of groceries? Voice recorder is awesome for the task. Arm strap and slip cover: The plastic slip cover was a bit tricky personally, but when I have it on, it appeared like the best fit to the MP3 player. There was clearly convenient openings for those important buttons (hold, menu/off, volume). It even included an opening to the mic to enable you to record muffle-free. Plus the Velcro arm strap was not real problem, either. Slip it into the provided cover slot , nor pull too tight or you'll block circulation. Size: The Sansa M40 is directly about 2 fingers wide and will not way very much. The screen is well sufficient enough that you should navigate interior and exterior the menu. Downloading: You'll need to use the provided USB add-on, but for most of us running Windows XP, downloading is really a breeze. I'll end up in the small print later, but this MP3 player makes navigating through tunes very easy. Ear buds: The audio quality during these ear buds is ok. They did provide removable foam covers per but, but not even attempt to rave about. Quality Features Navigation: What Everyone loves about it player may be the navigating ability through songs. You'll be able to choose by album, artist, song title, year, genre, almost however you should do it. For those who have a great audio tagging program or tagging skills, this feature ups its value tenfold. Buttons: The buttons are fairly simple to use on this player. The select button is raised up plenty of to live taken care of of the other buttons. There's even a dedicated button with the repeat features of the M240. I have no idea if it needed a button, and you can loop songs and segments of songs by navigating the repeat/ AB button. We would have preferred that it is an equalizer button. The hold switch is at the foot of the participant next to the mic port. The menu/off button is with top; you should hold it down for 5 seconds for a whole power-off. Volume control is in the top, too, for simple access. Menu Features include the content menu tell you what amount space you've got left/how many for each file type is loaded on the m40. Also there is a nifty stopwatch menu in your case joggers and runners. Using the settings menu you are able to adjust almost everything from here to range from the equalizer, power-off, and sleep modes. Lighting: Nowhere backlighting is ok. Make sure you adjust the setting from it to your preference from the settings menu. It's defaulted to 5 seconds, which isn't near of sufficient length for me. Downsides There's not so many disadvantages in this Sansa player that I'm able to think of. The audio quality isn't anything to boast about, yet it is up to scratch unless you might be a serious audiophile. As a serious audiophile you might have maybe saved up enough dough for just a higher-end model anyway. It's like complaining your Geo Metro isn't you'd like your Dodge Viper. This player, to compare, is like a 2003 Accord that has a V6: good bang with the buck and enough features to get it on the "standard" mark. I'm still doing research for the adaptability of plugging it into your truck audio system, but there aren't a great number of inexpensive choices for that. The first thing that I actually can't stand would be the wherewithal to play songs directly from the gamer only when it's installed through USB. I had put together another smaller player to be able capability since it had a direct plug-in on the ball player itself. Overall, this can be a pretty good player for the - range. Epinions.com shows it selling between and 2, based on the store and what hoops you should jump through.
